Morning devotional (Day 1)

God is present for us in so many ways! He is our wonderful, loving father, and he adores us and will be there for us every step of the way. Don't forget to include him in whatever you're doing or circumstance. He can complete tasks that would usually take us years to complete. Remember, he is our creator and miracle worker.

Now pray:

Dear Lord, I put on my spiritual armor as I begin my day! I put on my salvation helmet. Please preserve my mind and thoughts, Lord, and enable me to avoid having any poisonous thoughts today.

Please keep my imagination safe. I put on my righteousness breastplate. Please, Lord, keep my heart and emotions safe. I put on my truth belt. Please allow your words to penetrate to the very center of my existence. I put on my peace sandals. Lord, please help me to stay steadfast in the face of the enemy's attarks that will come my way today. I'm going to put my faith in your word. Please direct my steps and assist me in remaining solid today! I'm holding my shield of trust with my left hand!

Please assist me in deflecting and extinguishing the enemy's fiery darts that will be aimed at me today. Build a barrier of opposition around me and my family. Hold the sword of the spirit, which is your precious word, in my right hand. Help me to touch the hearts of everyone I meet today and tell them about your lovely and amazing son, Jesus Christ.

Thank you for your amazing grace and never-ending kindness, Lord. Thank you for your unconditional love and mercy for me. All of this I ask in the most priceless, holy, and majestic name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

God reveals in order to redeem

The enemy you know is less persuasive than the enemy you don’t know. In most cases, God displays himself to us in dreams or in visions. So whenever God discloses it to you. He is warning you to take a step and to act upon what he revealed. One thing you should perceive is that your enemy is not your neighbor, sister, colleagues, etc. We only have one enemy, which is the devil. Satan is very manipulative and if you aren’t prayerful enough, you’ll end up falling in to his traps. The day you’ll understand, you’ll avoid despising them.

Warning from God: Take your calling very seriously!!!

Imagine the consequences if Jesus Christ had not embraced the mission on earth that he was given by the father (John 6:38). Imagine what could have happened to millions of souls. Consider what could have happened to the Israelites if Moses had never taken his calling seriously when God called him to deliver the Israelites from Egypt (Exodus 3:10).  God has invested something in you, and it takes you to pray and discover what he has invested in you. Some of you God gave you the anointing of healing, but you aren’t even aware. Millions of souls are lost out there, and this situation requires you and me to take our calling very seriously. So many people are dying in hospitals from cancer, diabetes, and other diseases, while you are ignoring doing the will of the father, and you expect things to go well with you. Certainly, not everyone is destined for the same path, as God has assigned us various missions and duties. The key here is to discover your true identity. When you don't take ...

Wait upon the LORD

Life resembles a route. Additionally, there will be stop signs and speed limit or increase signs along the route! I chose to use this analogy because there are times in life when all you have to do is wait on the Almighty. And just get more prayer done when you feel like a situation has triumphed over you. Simply put on the gear and switch it out. There are moments when we may feel as though the Lord is not seeing us, hearing us, or responding to our prayers. We can place all of our faith and belief in the living God at these times. Knowing that the Lord is with us and in charge of our lives allows us to wait on Him with great anticipation. He is going to fulfill his promise. He is going to save us. Even when we are not aware of Him, He is constantly at work for our good (Romans 8:28). Waiting on the Lord is something we can learn through prayer, seeking, active trusting, patience, and courage. When we wait on the Lord, we confidently anticipate a favorable outcome, for which we ...
