Why is God putting us to the test?

God puts us to the test because he cares about us and wants us to grow in faith and knowledge of him. Being put to the test by God is simply a part of the process of growing closer to him.

He tests us to see if our faith in him is genuine (real). If God knows you are still preoccupied or unprepared, he will not advance you. He needs to know if you have what it takes to pass that specific request. According to Jeremiah 11:20, God puts his children's minds and hearts to the test.

If we fail, he teaches us so that we can prevail next time. God will reward us if our faith is genuine.

When you are being tested, you may feel as if he is silent; every teacher is silent when a student is being tested. A period of struggle during which you do not hear from God can be interpreted as a test from God.

Others may become discouraged by his silence and wonder if he truly loves or cares for them. Many people are tempted to give up praying at this point in their lives.

We know this because he put many people to the test in the Bible( Abraham, Job, Moses, etc). When the Israelites were slaves in Egypt, they apparently did not expect to be rescued anytime soon. Everything they went through was worthwhile when they arrived in the Promised Land.

The Israelites failed only when they began to focus on where they come from rather than where they were going.

If you want to pass God's test, arm/equip yourself with God's word. When things get tough, keep God's Word at your side like a sword. The Bible contains all of the answers you need to prepare for and pass God's test.

God reveals in order to redeem

The enemy you know is less persuasive than the enemy you don’t know. In most cases, God displays himself to us in dreams or in visions. So whenever God discloses it to you. He is warning you to take a step and to act upon what he revealed. One thing you should perceive is that your enemy is not your neighbor, sister, colleagues, etc. We only have one enemy, which is the devil. Satan is very manipulative and if you aren’t prayerful enough, you’ll end up falling in to his traps. The day you’ll understand, you’ll avoid despising them.

Warning from God: Take your calling very seriously!!!

Imagine the consequences if Jesus Christ had not embraced the mission on earth that he was given by the father (John 6:38). Imagine what could have happened to millions of souls. Consider what could have happened to the Israelites if Moses had never taken his calling seriously when God called him to deliver the Israelites from Egypt (Exodus 3:10).  God has invested something in you, and it takes you to pray and discover what he has invested in you. Some of you God gave you the anointing of healing, but you aren’t even aware. Millions of souls are lost out there, and this situation requires you and me to take our calling very seriously. So many people are dying in hospitals from cancer, diabetes, and other diseases, while you are ignoring doing the will of the father, and you expect things to go well with you. Certainly, not everyone is destined for the same path, as God has assigned us various missions and duties. The key here is to discover your true identity. When you don't take ...

Wait upon the LORD

Life resembles a route. Additionally, there will be stop signs and speed limit or increase signs along the route! I chose to use this analogy because there are times in life when all you have to do is wait on the Almighty. And just get more prayer done when you feel like a situation has triumphed over you. Simply put on the gear and switch it out. There are moments when we may feel as though the Lord is not seeing us, hearing us, or responding to our prayers. We can place all of our faith and belief in the living God at these times. Knowing that the Lord is with us and in charge of our lives allows us to wait on Him with great anticipation. He is going to fulfill his promise. He is going to save us. Even when we are not aware of Him, He is constantly at work for our good (Romans 8:28). Waiting on the Lord is something we can learn through prayer, seeking, active trusting, patience, and courage. When we wait on the Lord, we confidently anticipate a favorable outcome, for which we ...
