How You Can Restore Your Destiny Purpose Through Persistent Prayers and Fasting — And Why You Must Never Give Up (PART 2)

How You Can Restore Your Destiny Purpose Through Persistent Prayers and Fasting — And Why You Must Never Give Up

In life, there are moments when everything feels delayed, lost, or completely off-course. You may feel like your destiny has been hijacked—by bad decisions, spiritual attacks, generational issues, or life’s unexpected storms. But here's the good news: your destiny can be restored, and persistent prayer and fasting are powerful tools that can reposition you for your divine purpose.

1. What Does It Mean to Restore Your Destiny Purpose?

Restoring your destiny purpose means coming back into alignment with God's original plan for your life. It’s about breaking free from the forces that detoured or delayed you and stepping into the fullness of what you were created to do. This may include restoring lost opportunities, broken relationships, divine timing, and the confidence to pursue your calling.

2. Why Prayer and Fasting Work

Prayer is communion with God—it opens spiritual portals, brings clarity, and invites divine intervention. Fasting, on the other hand, humbles the flesh and sharpens your spiritual sensitivity. Together, they create an atmosphere where breakthroughs happen, strongholds are broken, and direction is restored.

Jesus Christ Himself said in Matthew 17:21 (KJV), "Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting." That scripture shows there are certain battles you cannot win unless you engage in intense spiritual warfare, and that includes regaining lost purpose.

3. How to Begin Your Restoration Journey
Start with Repentance: Acknowledge where you drifted off course. Whether through disobedience, delay, fear, or deception, bring it before God in humility.

Pray With Scripture: Use God’s Word as your legal weapon. Declare promises like Jeremiah 29:11 and Joel 2:25 over your life.

Fast with Intention: Don’t just abstain from food—fast with a clear goal. Ask God to reveal hidden blockages and uproot them.

Be Consistent: Restoration doesn’t happen overnight. Even when nothing changes visibly, your persistence in prayer is shaking things in the spirit realm.

4. Why You Must Never Give Up

The process of restoration is often slow because what was damaged over time must be rebuilt with care. There will be moments of discouragement, temptation to give in, and voices telling you to quit—but you must press on.

You may not see results immediately, but each prayer sown, each fast undertaken, and each moment spent in God’s presence is pushing you closer to restoration. Your persistence is a sign of faith—and faith is what God honors most.

5. Testimonies Are Born in the Waiting

Many people who experience full restoration often say the same thing: “I almost gave up.” But they didn’t. And neither should you.

The wait may be long. The attacks may increase but God is not a man that He should lie. (Numbers 23:19) If He put a purpose inside you, He will bring it to pass—if you don’t give up.

Final Word
Restoring your destiny is not just about reclaiming what was lost—it’s about becoming who you were always meant to be. Persistent prayer and fasting are the keys that unlock divine reversal and realignment.

So keep praying. Keep fasting. Keep believing. Your restoration is on the way.

God reveals in order to redeem

The enemy you know is less persuasive than the enemy you don’t know. In most cases, God displays himself to us in dreams or in visions. So whenever God discloses it to you. He is warning you to take a step and to act upon what he revealed. One thing you should perceive is that your enemy is not your neighbor, sister, colleagues, etc. We only have one enemy, which is the devil. Satan is very manipulative and if you aren’t prayerful enough, you’ll end up falling in to his traps. The day you’ll understand, you’ll avoid despising them.

Warning from God: Take your calling very seriously!!!

Imagine the consequences if Jesus Christ had not embraced the mission on earth that he was given by the father (John 6:38). Imagine what could have happened to millions of souls. Consider what could have happened to the Israelites if Moses had never taken his calling seriously when God called him to deliver the Israelites from Egypt (Exodus 3:10).  God has invested something in you, and it takes you to pray and discover what he has invested in you. Some of you God gave you the anointing of healing, but you aren’t even aware. Millions of souls are lost out there, and this situation requires you and me to take our calling very seriously. So many people are dying in hospitals from cancer, diabetes, and other diseases, while you are ignoring doing the will of the father, and you expect things to go well with you. Certainly, not everyone is destined for the same path, as God has assigned us various missions and duties. The key here is to discover your true identity. When you don't take ...

Wait upon the LORD

Life resembles a route. Additionally, there will be stop signs and speed limit or increase signs along the route! I chose to use this analogy because there are times in life when all you have to do is wait on the Almighty. And just get more prayer done when you feel like a situation has triumphed over you. Simply put on the gear and switch it out. There are moments when we may feel as though the Lord is not seeing us, hearing us, or responding to our prayers. We can place all of our faith and belief in the living God at these times. Knowing that the Lord is with us and in charge of our lives allows us to wait on Him with great anticipation. He is going to fulfill his promise. He is going to save us. Even when we are not aware of Him, He is constantly at work for our good (Romans 8:28). Waiting on the Lord is something we can learn through prayer, seeking, active trusting, patience, and courage. When we wait on the Lord, we confidently anticipate a favorable outcome, for which we ...
