Why Do Attacks Increase After Recovering Your Destiny or While Praying for Your Star?

If you’ve ever felt like all hell broke loose right after you started praying for your destiny or began reclaiming your spiritual star, you are not alone. Many people have asked: “Why does my life seem more under attack the moment I begin to pursue my divine purpose?” This blog will uncover the spiritual truth behind these intensified attacks and how to overcome them.

What Is Your Destiny and Star?

Your destiny is God’s divine plan for your life. It includes your calling, purpose, assignment, and spiritual inheritance. Your star is the heavenly identity and light assigned to you—what sets you apart and attracts favor, success, and opportunities.

In the spiritual realm, your star can be seen, tracked, and even fought over. That’s why when you start praying seriously to activate or recover it, you provoke spiritual attention—both divine and demonic.

Why Do the Attacks Intensify?

1. You’ve Become a Threat

Before, the enemy may have left you alone because you were inactive, confused, or spiritually weak. But the moment you begin to rise and fight, you pose a threat to the kingdom of darkness. They attack to stop your momentum.

2. Your Light Has Been Switched On

Praying for your destiny or recovering your star is like turning on a spiritual spotlight. Hidden enemies—spirit spouses, witchcraft covenants, ancestral altars—can now see your progress and will try to oppose it.

3. The Devil Hates Restoration

The enemy specializes in stealing, killing, and destroying (John 10:10). When you start taking back what he once stole—be it your voice, opportunities, marriage, or purpose—he reacts terribly to maintain control.

4. You’re Close to Breakthrough

Attacks often increase right before a major breakthrough. It's a common tactic to discourage you, wear you out, or trick you into giving up. But remember, increased warfare is often a sign that your testimony is near.

5. Spiritual Covenants Are Being Broken

Many destinies are tied down by evil covenants, whether inherited or self-inflicted through sin, wrong associations, or past spiritual ignorance. As you begin to break those chains, resistance rises from the spirits connected to those covenants.

How to Win

  1. Stay Consistent in Prayer and Fasting – Persistence breaks resistance.
  2. Use Targeted, Scriptural Warfare Prayers – Don’t just pray generally; confront specific attacks.
  3. Anoint Yourself and Your Environment – Demonic forces hate the presence of the Holy Spirit.
  4. Guard Your Heart and Mind – Attacks can come through discouragement, fear, or confusion.
  5. Don’t Give Up – Your consistency will make the enemy flee (James 4:7).

 Final Encouragement

If you're experiencing intense spiritual attacks after recovering your destiny or praying for your star, it's not because you’re weak—it’s because you are making progress. The enemy doesn’t fight people who are doing nothing; he fights those who are breaking free and rising.

Stay in the fight. Victory is already yours in Christ Jesus.

God reveals in order to redeem

The enemy you know is less persuasive than the enemy you don’t know. In most cases, God displays himself to us in dreams or in visions. So whenever God discloses it to you. He is warning you to take a step and to act upon what he revealed. One thing you should perceive is that your enemy is not your neighbor, sister, colleagues, etc. We only have one enemy, which is the devil. Satan is very manipulative and if you aren’t prayerful enough, you’ll end up falling in to his traps. The day you’ll understand, you’ll avoid despising them.

Wait upon the LORD

Life resembles a route. Additionally, there will be stop signs and speed limit or increase signs along the route! I chose to use this analogy because there are times in life when all you have to do is wait on the Almighty. And just get more prayer done when you feel like a situation has triumphed over you. Simply put on the gear and switch it out. There are moments when we may feel as though the Lord is not seeing us, hearing us, or responding to our prayers. We can place all of our faith and belief in the living God at these times. Knowing that the Lord is with us and in charge of our lives allows us to wait on Him with great anticipation. He is going to fulfill his promise. He is going to save us. Even when we are not aware of Him, He is constantly at work for our good (Romans 8:28). Waiting on the Lord is something we can learn through prayer, seeking, active trusting, patience, and courage. When we wait on the Lord, we confidently anticipate a favorable outcome, for which we ...

Warning from God: Take your calling very seriously!!!

Imagine the consequences if Jesus Christ had not embraced the mission on earth that he was given by the father (John 6:38). Imagine what could have happened to millions of souls. Consider what could have happened to the Israelites if Moses had never taken his calling seriously when God called him to deliver the Israelites from Egypt (Exodus 3:10).  God has invested something in you, and it takes you to pray and discover what he has invested in you. Some of you God gave you the anointing of healing, but you aren’t even aware. Millions of souls are lost out there, and this situation requires you and me to take our calling very seriously. So many people are dying in hospitals from cancer, diabetes, and other diseases, while you are ignoring doing the will of the father, and you expect things to go well with you. Certainly, not everyone is destined for the same path, as God has assigned us various missions and duties. The key here is to discover your true identity. When you don't take ...
