“Lord, I Want to Believe” – A Cry for Help, A Call to Hope (Jeremiah 33:3)

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” – Jeremiah 33:3 (NIV)

Sometimes life gets so loud, it drowns out the whisper of God’s promises. We find ourselves stuck in storms that seem endless, facing situations that challenge our faith to its core. And yet, in the middle of our brokenness, the Lord is still calling us to call on Him.

Have you ever sat in silence and whispered:

“Lord, I want to believe. But right now, it's hard.”

“Open my eyes, God. I want to see beyond the chaos around me.”

If you have, you’re not alone.

Many of us have stood in the tension between what we feel and what we hope for. We say we trust God, but some days the weight feels unbearable. We say we want to fly, to be free, to live with joy and purpose, but deep down we feel like no one ever taught us how.

You Are Not Forgotten

Jeremiah 33:3 is not just a verse. It’s an invitation. Listen, God doesn’t just sit back and watch us suffer. He says, "Call to me." Not because He doesn’t know what we’re going through, but because He wants us to know He’s listening. He wants to show us “great and unsearchable things”—solutions, healing, peace, and hope that we didn’t even know existed.

God sees your tears. He hears your prayers even when they come out as broken whispers.

There Is Purpose in the Pain

Romans 8:28 tells us that “in all things God works for the good of those who love Him.” Your struggle is not wasted. Your tears are not meaningless. Your story is being written by the One who never makes mistakes.

God’s strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). That means even when you feel like you're at the end of yourself, you are right at the beginning of His power.

Tired of Trying Alone? That’s the First Step

You might feel exhausted from trying to fix things on your own. But that realization—that you're tired without Him—is a step toward freedom. God never asked you to carry the burden alone. He invites you to trade your weariness for His rest (Matthew 11:28).

A Prayer from the Heart

"Lord, I want to believe. I want to trust that this storm will pass and that the sun will shine again. Help me to see with faith and not fear. Show me how to fly, how to live free, and how to hold onto your promises when everything around me shakes. I choose to call on You today. I know You will answer. Amen."

Don’t Stop Calling

Keep calling on God. Even when you don’t feel Him. Even when the answers are slow. He is not silent. He is not distant. He is working behind the scenes. Keep believing—He’s not finished with your story yet.

God reveals in order to redeem

The enemy you know is less persuasive than the enemy you don’t know. In most cases, God displays himself to us in dreams or in visions. So whenever God discloses it to you. He is warning you to take a step and to act upon what he revealed. One thing you should perceive is that your enemy is not your neighbor, sister, colleagues, etc. We only have one enemy, which is the devil. Satan is very manipulative and if you aren’t prayerful enough, you’ll end up falling in to his traps. The day you’ll understand, you’ll avoid despising them.

Why You Find It Difficult to Recover Your Destiny

Have you ever felt like something precious was stolen from you—your purpose, your dreams, or even your sense of direction in life? Many people go through seasons where they feel lost, stuck, or unable to step into the future they desire. If you’ve been struggling to recover your destiny, there are often deeper reasons behind it. Let’s explore some spiritual and practical factors that might be making it hard for you to walk in your true calling, especially looking at the role of covenants and agreements. 1. Unresolved Spiritual Covenants and Agreements One major reason people struggle to recover their destiny is because of unseen spiritual agreements or covenants, knowingly or unknowingly entered into. These can include: Family covenants: Sometimes ancestors made pacts for protection, wealth, or power that now affect future generations. Personal agreements: Visiting spiritual practitioners, taking part in certain rituals, or even careless words (“I’ll never succeed”) can create spiritu...

Wait upon the LORD

Life resembles a route. Additionally, there will be stop signs and speed limit or increase signs along the route! I chose to use this analogy because there are times in life when all you have to do is wait on the Almighty. And just get more prayer done when you feel like a situation has triumphed over you. Simply put on the gear and switch it out. There are moments when we may feel as though the Lord is not seeing us, hearing us, or responding to our prayers. We can place all of our faith and belief in the living God at these times. Knowing that the Lord is with us and in charge of our lives allows us to wait on Him with great anticipation. He is going to fulfill his promise. He is going to save us. Even when we are not aware of Him, He is constantly at work for our good (Romans 8:28). Waiting on the Lord is something we can learn through prayer, seeking, active trusting, patience, and courage. When we wait on the Lord, we confidently anticipate a favorable outcome, for which we ...
