Prayer to Break Soul Ties

After a Breakup Letting go of a past relationship is not always easy. Even after communication has ended, emotional attachments can linger. You may find yourself thinking about your ex-partner often, replaying memories, or feeling emotionally connected despite the breakup. This emotional attachment can make healing difficult and delay your ability to move forward.

One of the reasons it becomes hard to forget an ex-lover is because emotional bonds were formed during the relationship. These bonds, often referred to as soul ties, are deep emotional connections created through shared experiences, trust, affection, and vulnerability. While such bonds are natural in relationships, they can become unhealthy when the relationship has ended but the emotional attachment remains.

Breaking soul ties after a breakup is not about hatred, revenge, or denial of the past. It is about emotional freedom, inner healing, and restoring peace to your heart. It allows you to release what no longer serves you and make space for healing, growth, and future healthy relationships.

Why It Is Important to Break Soul Ties

Unbroken emotional ties can:

  1. Keep you emotionally stuck in the past
  2. Affect your self-esteem and confidence
  3. Interfere with new relationships
  4. Cause emotional pain, confusion, or restlessness
  5. Delay personal and spiritual growth

Breaking soul ties helps you regain emotional clarity and strengthens your ability to move forward with wisdom and peace.

Prayer to Break Soul Ties

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with humility and honesty. You know my heart, my thoughts, and my emotions. I acknowledge that I formed deep emotional attachments in my past relationship, and some of those attachments remain even though the relationship has ended.

Today, I ask You to help me release every unhealthy emotional connection that keeps me tied to my past. I choose healing over pain, peace over confusion, and freedom over emotional bondage.

I surrender every memory, feeling, expectation, and attachment that no longer aligns with Your will for my life. Cleanse my heart with the blood of Jesus Christ from emotional residue, disappointment, and lingering affection that prevents me from moving forward.

Restore my emotional strength, renew my mind, and heal my heart completely. Replace every empty space with peace, wisdom, and self-love. Help me forgive fully, release willingly, and grow stronger through this process.

I declare that I am free emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I embrace healing, clarity, and a hopeful future. I trust You to guide my steps and prepare me for healthy, purposeful relationships ahead.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

After the Prayer: Practical Steps for Healing

  1. Prayer is powerful, but healing is also supported by intentional actions:
  2. Limit contact with your ex if possible
  3. Avoid revisiting old messages or memories repeatedly
  4. Focus on personal growth and self-care
  5. Surround yourself with supportive people
  6. Give yourself time—healing is a process

Encouragement

Breaking soul ties does not erase your past; it simply frees you from being controlled by it. Healing takes time, patience, and grace. Each step you take toward emotional freedom brings you closer to peace and wholeness.

If this prayer resonated with you, consider returning to it whenever emotional attachment resurfaces. Freedom is a journey, and you are not alone.

Understanding Destiny Swapping: A Hidden Agenda Over Your Purpose (PART 1)

In this post, we’ll explore what destiny swapping is, how it happens, signs to look out for, and what you can do to get back and reclaim your God-given purpose. What Is Destiny Swapping? Destiny swapping is a spiritual manipulation where one person’s divine destiny is exchanged, stolen, or traded—often without their knowledge—for another person’s benefit. It happens when dark powers, witches, false prophets, or envious individuals manipulate or hijack the divine plan God originally intended for someone’s life. In simple terms, destiny swapping means you end up living a life that is not yours, while someone else is living the blessings, favor, or opportunities that were m...

Why You Find It Difficult to Recover Your Destiny

Have you ever felt like something precious was stolen from you—your purpose, your dreams, or even your sense of direction in life? Many people go through seasons where they feel lost, stuck, or unable to step into the future they desire. If you’ve been struggling to recover your destiny, there are often deeper reasons behind it. Let’s explore some spiritual and practical factors that might be making it hard for you to walk in your true calling, especially looking at the role of covenants and agreements. 1. Unresolved Spiritual Covenants and Agreements One major reason people struggle to recover their destiny is because of unseen spiritual agreements or covenants, knowingly or unknowingly entered into. These can include: Family covenants: Sometimes ancestors made pacts for protection, wealth, or power that now affect future generations. Personal agreements: Visiting spiritual practitioners, taking part in certain rituals, or even careless words (“I’ll never succeed”) can create spiritu...

God reveals in order to redeem

The enemy you know is less persuasive than the enemy you don’t know. In most cases, God displays himself to us in dreams or in visions. So whenever God discloses it to you. He is warning you to take a step and to act upon what he revealed. One thing you should perceive is that your enemy is not your neighbor, sister, colleagues, etc. We only have one enemy, which is the devil. Satan is very manipulative and if you aren’t prayerful enough, you’ll end up falling in to his traps. The day you’ll understand, you’ll avoid despising them.
