Signs That Your God-Given Inheritance Is Being Stolen to Benefit the Kingdom of Satan—and How to Recover It
The enemy cannot create the blessings God has prepared for His children. Instead, Scripture shows that Satan works through deception, temptation, lies, fear, distraction, and manipulation to draw believers away from God's will. His goal is to make Christians settle for less than what God desires for them. That is why the Bible repeatedly tells us not to be ignorant of his schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11).
Some signs that your God-given inheritance may be under spiritual attack include:
- You are constantly tempted to compromise your faith for temporary gain.
- You find yourself believing lies that contradict God's promises.
- You become spiritually complacent and gradually drift away from prayer, God's Word, and fellowship with other believers.
- Fear, discouragement, or hopelessness keep you from obeying God.
- Repeated deception leads you away from biblical truth and sound teaching.
- You allow unforgiveness, bitterness, or persistent sin to take root in your heart.
So how do you protect and recover what God has entrusted to you?
Return wholeheartedly to God. Repent wherever you have knowingly followed deception or compromise. Spend time daily in prayer and Scripture, asking the Holy Spirit for wisdom and discernment. Test every teaching and influence against the Bible rather than following personalities or popular opinions. Resist the devil by remaining faithful to Christ, and trust God's promise that He is able to restore, strengthen, and guide those who seek Him sincerely.
Your victory is not found in fear of the enemy but in confidence in Jesus Christ. Stay close to God, walk in obedience, and refuse to exchange eternal blessings for temporary deception. As Christians, we are called to remain watchful, faithful, and rooted in the truth, knowing that God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in us.
